A year after its big move, here's how Salted Vines winery is doing in Frankford

Sometimes, outgrowing something is not always so bad. The Route 54 landmark, Fenwick Wine Cellars, may have been gone for a year now, but it has not been forgotten.
A new and improved location has taken up residency in Frankford, now known as Salted Vines Vineyard & Winery, and it is attracting positive vibes from neighbors and out-of-town guests alike, who can partake in events offered Wednesdays through Saturdays throughout the year in addition to wine tastings.

The other day while on a short trip to Ocean City, Maryland, my mom and I drove just over the state line to Delaware. I was on a mission to scratch off another state on my fifty states, fifty wineries bucket list. Luckily Salted Vines Vineyard and Winery is just a short distance away from my parents’ house at the shore, and I had not been to a winery in Delaware yet.

Salted Vines Vineyard & Winery was originally named Fenwick Wine Cellars. It was little more than a tasting room in a small strip mall in Selbyville, Delaware. In 2016, owners Adrian and Jessica Mobilia moved to property a few miles west, planted a couple acres of vines and built a proper tasting room.
