REHOBOTH BEACH, Del.- You can get it at the liquor store, you can get it at a winery but you can't get it delivered to your house.
As of now in Delaware, you cannot get wine delivered to your doorstep from Delaware wineries, but lawmakers want to change that.

DELAWARE.- In Delaware, the move to raise the minimum wage gradually from $10.50 per hour next year to $15 in 2025 is now just awaiting the governor’s signature.
Some restaurant owners believe as businesses recover from the pandemic, it’s uncertain what impact that will have. “So there’s probably businesses out there this will hurt. There’s probably businesses out there this won’t have much of a negative impact on and I think time will tell,” said Mobilia.

On Sept. 11, 2019, Salted Vines bottled a red wine blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Syrah and named it "Tribute," to recognize those who are or have served in all branches of the military, police, fire and ambulatory services. For over a year, a portion of the proceeds from every bottle of Tribute sold was collected to be donated to local charitable organizations supporting these public heroes. Donations were recently presented to Blessings for Badges and Friends of the Delaware Veterans Trust Fund Endowment.

Salted Vines Vineyard had an event Wednesday to show off their new wine, which was inspired by some cute animals. The winery and Barn Hill Preserve have teamed up for an event called “Sippin with Sloths” in the past and on Wednesday they hosted another one of these events. During the event, people can wine taste, while hanging out with sloths. But this event was special as they showed off their new wine called “Lower Slower Delaware.”
The wine was made in honor of their sloth events, since they have been such a hit.

Salted Vines Vineyard & Winery is pleased to announce that they raised $20,000 for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) 2020 Man & Woman of the Year campaign. Earlier this year, General Manager, Katie Duke, and Assistant Manager, Heather Spencer teamed up to support this philanthropic competition to raise funds to support those impacted by blood cancer.

DELAWARE — Restaurants, breweries and bars are preparing to reopen on June 1st limited to 30 percent of their indoor capacity.
“I think a lot of restaurateurs are really happy and excited to invite people back in because this is really what we live for,” says Scott Kammerer, the president of SoDel Concepts.
“We know that we can’t do business as normal. We kind of have to mold ourselves to what we have available to us,” says Katie Duke, the general manager of Salted Vines Vineyard and Winery.
